Quarter Life
Few days ago was my birthday, I am now officially a quarter of a century old/young. Had a birthday dinner this year at an Italian place that sang the birthday song in very serious manner in Italian. She sang beautifully, but at the end of the song I wanted to ask her, “who died?” Then came the traditional candle blowing ritual, but by then my candle was about to disappear into my cake...
